Island Health Authority (IHA) – Licensing
VIHA – Licensing is the body that our Centre reports to and that is responsible for ensuring that we comply with the Act. There are links on the site to both the Community Care and Assisted Living Act and the Child Care Regulations.

Great site for parents to read easy-to-understand fact sheets on various
public health and safety topics. We often will refer to this site to give our
families written information about topics that are applicable to our Centre.
 

Greater Victoria School District
There is a lot of information on this site and you will find that important current topics are displayed on the main page. For example, during the winter months, school closures or notifications of late starts for classes are often noted on this page.
 

Child Care Subsidy
For families that are interested in learning more about the Subsidies program and/or applying for Subsidy, this is where you will find all the information you need regarding qualifications, online application forms, etc.
 

Ministry of Children and Family Development
A wealth of wonderful information for all families regarding all their resources, programs and funding.
 

Public Health Nurse
Like most families, there are times where you aren’t quite sure whether you should take your child into the Doctor’s office, emergency or a clinic. Our Public Health Nurses will assist you and often give you helpful suggestions.
 

IHA Supported Child Development
This site is helpful in guiding families in obtaining additional support for their child while attending our Programs. We are always happy to help you understand how Supported Child Development works and how our Programs works with our families.
